These watches can be worn on the beach or on a warm summer night out. The bright colors give them a not-to serious vibe. I love the orange-red because it goes great with a nice brown tan.

Nicholas Kirkwood – High Heels

Nicholas Kirkwood is a London-based designer who is known for his fresh and unconventional shoe designs. The shoe-maker has collaborated with designers such as Rodarte, Chloe and Philip Lim. He is currently the creative director for accessories at Pollini.  Just shy of being 30 years old he has already made his mark in the accessories world and is a relatively unknown hidden gem. Look for his lines to gather more followers in the coming years. These modern heels are from his Spring/Summer 2010 line and can be found at Kirna Zabete and Seven New York.

Halston Heritage – Bags

Halston launched its mini line, Halston Heritage, in 2009. It takes you back to Halston’s glory days of the 1970′s when his clothing was worn by many of the biggest disco names. The line has a youthful appeal, while still maintaining the sleek cut style Haltston is famous for. These evening bags have an old-time glamour to them, while their colors and fabric makes them playful. They come in many styles and colors and the price is very affordable.

Elle Magazine – Street Chic Daily

Today’s post isn’t about any particular piece of fashion. I wanted to share with everyone a wonderful website/blog. It’s called Street Chic Daily and its done by the genius’ at Elle Magazine. Personally I believe Elle Magazine is consistently one of the best Fashion Magazines both for its style content and written content. Their Street Chic Daily feature is a mix between a blog and a more authentic fashion website.  They post pictures of everyday Women(and more recently men) in everyday clothes. The pictures are not staged and many looks have very spontaneous and unconventional feel to them.  Street Chic Daily is a great place to go for inspiration and to admire other peoples approach to personal style.

Alexander McQueen-Scarves

Alexander McQueen’s scarves were in high demand about six years ago all over the world. He continues to design and produce his classic silk scarves every season. For Resort 2010 he is showing this version with hot red lips all over it! I love the way his scarves experiment with many different shades of colors. This bright yellow scarf would look great with a white t-shirt, black jeans and a blazer. They’re a great investment because you know you are buying a high-quality piece that you will keep forever!

Prada-Clutch

RasoPleat Clutch” is part of its new Resort 2010 collection. This pleated satin clutch comes in 4 colors: natural, red, black and navy. I love the navy  for Resort because you can pair it with white, brown, black and all different shades of blue. Its 13 inches long by 5.5 inches high, which makes it a little bit smaller than a piece of standard computer paper. It’s the perfect size to fit everything you need for cocktails by the beach or a night on the town. The best feature is the cute front hand strap. This makes it easy to hold and is a very chic, but practical addition to the elegant clutch.

3.1 Philip Lim – Underwear

Philip Lim designed these pastel colored matching bralette and brief sets as part of his new lingerie line. These silk-blend pieces are delicate and sweet looking. The white trim and small bow make them flirty and feminine. They come in coral, pale yellow, white with black polka dots and others. Check out the matching nightdress for a full ensemble suited for any girl.

Lanvin-Shoes

These Moccasins by Lanvin are a comfortable Resort flat. They have a bohemian vibe to them, but the stitching detail makes them look sophisticated. They are perfect pieces for resort because they match with white jeans, shorts or dresses. Lanvin showcased tropical colors such as bright purple and green for their Resort 2010 collection. You can wear them to the beach, a cocktail part or around the house.

This Paris-based jewelry brand started on a whim with an idea for a few bracelets. It has since turned into a chic brand, which has a new line every season. Precious stones are used on thin, delicate bracelets for an elegant yet simple look. These designs are sold in Colette or select other international locations.

Resort clothes are always great investments as they focus less on trends and more on practical, wearable clothing and accessories.
